Quit Your New Years Resolutions? Here's Why.

As you might have noticed I didn't write a fancy "New Year New You" Newsletter Jan
1st. We get too many of them and most of them are wrong.

I always like to wait until February to send this. By that time most have quit
(some maybe quite a long time ago). If you haven't GOOD FOR YOU! There can still
be ways to tweak what you are doing. Here it goes:

Quit Your Workout Plan? Be Positive

So many try to go from zero to 1000% overnight. You might have gone out too hard.
Try out going to the gym, walking, even for 20 minutes once or twice a week. It
isn't much but you are doing something. Congratulate yourself! We tend to beat
up ourselves way too much. Every time you get to the gym, put down the cookie,
you are THAT much closer to your goal. Focus on that rather than being mad you
didn't hit the gym 15 times this week.

How Tired is Too Tired?

If you are tired for the rest of the day after your workout you can be doing too
much for your body right now. Research right now is showing any more than 45 min
of working out a day might be doing you more harm than good. Listen to your body.
This might even be the reason you can't get to the gym. If you are waking up tired
who wants to go for a run right? We have great adrenal support in the office to

Fasting? Not So fast!

Our bodies are an amazing work of art...a beautiful machine. We have to fuel it.
Several day and at times several week liquid only "detoxes", etc can do you more

Can't Rid the Addictions?

When you read about the adrenal glands this is a huge culprit. If you are stressed
and tired the body is going to want sugars for a quick burst. Fixing the adrenals
can really help with this. Also helping out the pancreas (which releases insulin
in a sugar response) will greatly help as well. We can test out several nutrients

Lastly, there is always an emotional component to food (as well as drugs, smoking,
etc) Trust me. I grew up as an overweight child. I know what this is about.
